We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Your Data
We will never sell your data. Ever.
We collect only what we need to make fenel work for you. Nothing more.
Delete your data anytime. No questions asked. Gone within 30 days.
Disconnect any connected account anytime. That data is removed within 24 hours.
We will never share your data without your knowledge. If we ever do, we will tell you clearly: who, why, and how.
We may use aggregated and de-identified data to improve fenel for all users.
You will never be personally identifiable in this data.
fenel is powered by AI at its core. Every feature: capturing a contact, surfacing a relationship, sending a nudge is driven by AI models that learn from how you use the app. This includes behavioural data such as how you capture contacts, which nudges you act on, and how you search and surface relationships. This data is essential to making fenel work.
By using fenel you consent to this use of your behavioural data. Because AI is at the heart of everything fenel does it is not possible to opt out of behavioural data use and continue using the app. However you may request full deletion of your data at any time and we will remove it within 30 days.
We will always be transparent about when and how AI is working for you. You will never interact with an AI feature inside fenel without knowing it.
Your Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information including encryption in transit and at rest. However no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Data Breach Notificationfenel is legally committed to the following under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec Law 25, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): We will notify you of any data breach that affects your Personal Information within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. No exceptions. We will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by GDPR Article 33.Our breach notification to you will include what happened, which data was affected, when it occurred, what we are doing to fix it, and what steps you can take to protect yourself. We will never delay, minimize, or conceal a data breach that affects your Personal Information. We maintain a dedicated incident response team trained to handle security breaches immediately and transparently. Where and when required by law you have the right to request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data. We may need to request information from you to confirm your identity before fulfilling any request.If while using the Service you grant us access to any external account such as your Google or LinkedIn account you may revoke that access at any time and we will delete the associated data within 24 hours.We comply with applicable privacy laws including GDPR, the EU AI Act transparency obligations, CCPA, and Canadian PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25. If your local law gives you additional rights we will honor them.
Minimum Age
fenel is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information please contact us immediately at support@fenel.com and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date above and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications constitutes your acknowledgment of and consent to the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes we will notify you through the email address you have provided or by placing a prominent notice within the fenel app and on our website before changes take effect.
